Mission and Goals


The aim of the Rappaport Institute at the Technion’s Rappaport Faculty of Medicine is to promote excellence in biomedical research for the benefit of human health.

Major goals

  • To facilitate research excellence within the Ruth and Bruce Faculty of Medicine at the Technion

  • To promote human health through biomedical research, discovery and innovation

  • To foster national and international scientific collaborations and interactions in the life sciences and biomedical research

  • To provide a means for translating research accomplishments into clinical practice

  • To develop a financial basis for perpetual support of excellent scientific discovery
